Annual Return
Annual Returns are required to be filed for every corporation incorporated or registered in Manitoba. The form must be completed providing information for the corporation as of the last day of its anniversary month in the year for which the form is filed. You will require the barcode number located in the top left corner of Annual Returns sent out after July 10, 2017.

Security Levels

Online access to certain services is dependent on the level of security that you have been granted:

Level One Access (everyone who creates a user name and password is given Level One Access):

    • Perform a search to determine if an entity is registered or incorporated in Manitoba
    • Order Certificates of Status or File Summaries
    • Submit a Request for Name Reservation
    • Incorporate a Manitoba share or non-share corporation
    • Register a Sole Proprietorship or Partnership
    • File an Annual Return or Renewal on your own corporation or business name

Level Two Access - A Level one user is upgraded to Level two for a specific entity after:

    • Filing its Annual Return or Renewal online.
    • Registering or incorporating a new company online.

A level two user can:

    • File Notice of Change of Directors/Officers, Notice of Change of Registered Office Address, change of mailing address, change of shareholders on corporations
    • File a Change of address for a  Business Name
    •  Change the name of a Manitoba corporation

Level Three Access - Available only to Canadian law firms (members having “practicing status” in a Canadian Law Society and their staff) - Contact the Companies Office for further information.

 

Payment of Online Transactions

Regular Users


You will be prompted for your credit card information when requesting services or completing filings that require a payment. Charges quoted are in Canadian funds. If payment is made by a non-Canadian credit card, the amount paid will be converted to your currency by your financial institution.
 

Deposit Account Users

A Deposit Account is a special account created for hi-volume organizations with multiple staff accessing the Companies Office system. Once established, funds are deposited into the account and are used to pay for all Companies Office transactions. Online users will not be prompted for credit card information. A request for a New Deposit Account Application form must be completed and submitted to the Companies Office.
